Through the Elephant Thoughts Child Freedom Project, the Interact Club of Collingwood fundraised money for Rotary Wheels for Learning. The Rotary Wheels for Learning program distributes bicycles to youth in order to help them attend school. Without this opportunity, many students would have to walk over 5 km or take shortcuts through jungles where they could stumble upon unexploded ordinances or dangerous wildlife.
This February, 694 bicycles were distributed in seven provinces of Cambodia, 30 of which were thanks to the amazing efforts of the Interact Club, who have forever changed lives.
